The Glory of God

Brethren welcome to August, this is the 8^th month of the year, 2019.  The number 8 is said to signify new beginnings.  As we enter this month, we seek to experience the Wondrous Glory of God Almighty, in whatever new beginnings He has in store for us.

“O Jehovah, our Lord, How excellent is thy name in all the earth,
Who hast set thy glory upon the heavens!” Psalm 8:1 (ASV).

It is the God of Glory who allows us to experience fellowship in our daily walk with Him.  The song writer states: “Oh the glory of His presence, we Your temple give You rev’rence, so arise to Your rest, and be blessed by our praise, as we glory in Your embrace, as Your presence now fills this place.”

Children of God, it is my deepest desire that we experience His glory both individually and collectively. Our families need this, our communities need this, our leaders need this, our country need this, humanity needs the Glory of God! The God who never changes, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and to-day, yea and forever.” Hebrews 13:8 (ASV).

I invite every member, visitor and extended families of RCCG Tower of Refuge to prayerfully set your eyes on the new beginnings to be seen through the glory of God. We too will join with the Psalmist and say: “The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament showeth his handiwork.” Psalm 19:1. (ASV).
